Stunning Bird illustrations, minute detail. Each page gives, song, flight pattern, Nest identification, Range Map, Similar birds. Though I would hardly call it a "handbook" due to the weight.

Exceptional book with many details on bird features and loss of habitat.

It would be welcome if this was reissued: publication in 2001 leaves Conservation and Population outdated.

It would also be great if the book opened flat, maybe ring bound?

Some descriptions could be lived up: "Grey" instead of "drab."
