around and a boy captures the birdie and takes care of him.
The birdie stops singing til the boy realizes what is wrong, and
makes it right once again. good rhymes.

This one read more like a 50's teen romance than one from the 80's.
Not enough romance to suit me. More of a career book.
Carol loves her summer job at the department store and decides that she wants to become a retail buyer someday. She chases this ambition and has successes and failures.
