La historia de un verano, un invierno y otro verano, en que los niños cuentan su feliz vida, primero en la libertad del verano, luego en el Colegio de Jesuitas, y por último en el nuevo verano donde los niños descubren el amor y la juventud.

The prose is that of an older man spoken by a little boy. In the second chapter it is actually quite annoying, with "and" over and over again at the beginning of a sentence. But at the same time also very recognizable, because who doesn't recognize the child who, in his excitement, tries to tell an adult what he has been through?
The child's thoughts are very adult. Latin, Greek mythology. I can't imagine that someone so young would daydream about that.
Fortunately, the story does not lack humor, and occasionally you are drawn into the big questions of life that the boy asks himself in anticipation of the moment when his confessor will confess to him.
