Once Upon A Romance, by Alex Bailey, was originally published in 2018. It's book 1 in a 2 book series, A Dream Come True. Both books main characters are Sophie and Ray with book 2 adding in their respective best friends. The setting is Disney World and we get a lot of information about the park(s). It's a fun tour of Disney at Christmas. The author must have spent plenty of time researching to come up with such detail. Sophie and Ray meet and it's like 2 pieces of a puzzle fitting together. They're great together, & with Sophie's niece. The Most Magical Place On Earth works wonders for their bruised and grieving hearts. It's a sweet story but I'm afraid it dragged in a couple of places. In hindsight I think I was on Disney overload, too much information sometimes. Thanks to Amazon for making this book a freebie, I enjoyed it.… (mer)

If you love Disney, if you’re planning a trip to Disney, or if you just got home from Disney, you will probably love this book.

If you haven’t, you’ll probably find it cute and think that someone who’d just been to Disney might appreciate it more.

I haven’t been to Disney since I was a kid and I think the reason this book appealed to me is because my family recently traveled there.
It’s just filled with references of all the best things to see, do, and eat in Disney.

I thought the storyline was cute. Sophie comes from a family of Disney fanatics. She never wanted to go back as an adult. But her niece only wants one thing for Christmas, to go to Disney and ride her mom’s favorite ride on Christmas Day.

And because Sophie’s brother in law works so much, she is the only one who can be there for the entire Disney trip.
Everyone else plans to fly in a few days later.
Not long into the trip, Sophie meets Ray. He’s so into Disney that he’s known as Professor Disney and writes a Disney blog. Talk about the perfect person to show her and her niece Ariel the real Disney.

Sophie finds herself having more fun at Disney than she ever did as a kid. And she’s starting to feel less excited about her boyfriend’s arrival.

I got to read an early e book edition from NetGalley and I am recommending this to my friends and family who have recently made Disney trips.
