- Born in Gütersloh on Sunday May 15th,1949 at 00:02. After completing secondary school studied language in France and philosophy at the University of Münster/ Westphalia. Followed by a twelve-year career in a Munich private bank. Since1985 active as book author, course director, astrologer. For more than 8 years editor of the book series "KAILASH" for the Heinrich Hugendubel Verlag Munich. Author or co-author of 21 books on Astrology and Tarot, of which "The Tarot Handbook" has been published in 20 languages.

i really like this book, not only the content but how it is set up. let me start with the downside, the intro is dense...very dense a little too "new agey". however given the complexity of the Thoth, deal with those two down sides this book is well worth it! it's set up to make understanding the Thoth clearer to even beginners. if you have even the slightest interest in the Thoth, this is one of the two top books i've found for it.

Wow, I am happy to run across this gentle and easy to follow book on astrology. I feel like it was written just for me. The format is so simple, everything is right there in little phrases and words that I could relate to right away. I feel so well armed as I go out into the astrological jungle, terms like "Venus in Libra" and "mars in the 3rd house" don't intimidate me anymore.
I love how this comforting little helper took me right from the beginning of explaining how to read a chart to the end where it has lists and descriptions of words I had heard before but couldn't comprehend. It gives me such a sense of freedom to realize that I am not astrologically challenged anymore. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in astrology, but especially to those like myself who have had a hard time grasping the whole concept. Thanks Hajo & Anna for giving me my passion back.
