Albert Ellery Berg (1856–1919)

Editor and author on the staff of the New York Dramatic Mirror, and for five years Secretary of the New York Press Club in its early existence. After receiving his education in France and Germany, in 1880 he became a member of the editorial staff of Harper Brothers, and was later managing editor of The Keystone, a musical publication, before his connection with the Dramatic Mirror was begun. Subsequently he was managing editor of The Columbian and Continental Magazines.
