Recensioner

This intriguing book is just a laundry list of criminals: mug shots, aliases, and descriptions of their crimes. It is interesting to contemplate what exactly is meant by "Bludgeon Worker," or what the difference might be between a "Sneak" and "Burgler". This is simultaneously light reading and serious historical socialogy.
