Raymond E. Callahan

I used this as a textbook in an history of American education class at Georgia State University in 1974. The book emphasizes how business was taking over the agenda of American public education in the Progressive era. It was accompanied by a local situation of the period which my professor was writing about, when the Atlanta teachers' union was going strongly against an Insurance executive who had become chairman of the education board intent of using these principles to change the schools to benefit business, or so the teachers thought.
