Ore Microscopy av Eugene N. Cameron
This college text describes clearly how to identify ore minerals in thin section and polished section. In college courses I found this text very easy to follow and we felt it was a well rounded treatment of the study of ore minerals in rocks through the microscope. Towards the end of the book the author expands on why mineral determination in a rock section is more advantagious than a simple chemical assay.
