I enjoyed this. I often laughed out loud while reading about these women and men. I did know about Anne Bonney and Mary Read but had not heard of most the people in these vignettes. This is a fun book that opened my mind to new information. Perfect for a trivia buff and anyone wanting to learn something new and entertaining.

Excellent collection of very short historical trivia. Each story is only about two pages.

Quoting the preface, this is a 'small volume of ancient and modern historical facts of Tasmania in general, and Hobart in particular'. It is pretty detailed street by street. It has a fold out map as well.
