Genre/Critique: This is an example of an Informational book, since it is about animals who do live in the rain forests of the world. Carlin is deliberate in introducing the child to the plight of the rain forest and the animals who live there. The pictures are somewhat inviting, but the fun facts and text are level appropriate and appealing to the reader.… (mer)
