Cinda Williams Chima was born in Springfield, Ohio in 1952. She received a BA in philosophy from the University of Akron in 1975 and a master's degree in nutrition from Case Western Reserve University in 1984. Before becoming a full-time author, she was a freelance contributor to numerous local and visa mer regional publications focusing on health-related topics and was an assistant professor of nutrition at the University of Akron. She writes the Heir Chronicles and the Seven Realms series. Her title The Enchanter Heir made The New York Times Best Seller List and her title Stitching Snow made The Young New Adult Titles List. The Enchanter Heir ((The Heir Chronicles, Book 4)) av Cinda Williams Chima

I'm a big fan of this series and was really looking forward to reading this installment. It was a bit different from the first three books, not in a bad way, but it seemed more urban and gritty, which totally worked for it. The characters were harder and their foes were different, but that kept this book interesting. The characters were likeable and the pacing was good. The ending also set the next book up perfectly.

All in all, I enjoyed this book very much and look forward to reading the next one in the series.

Runestone Saga: Children of Ragnarok (The Runestone… av Cinda Williams Chima

I am excited for book #2 in the Runestone Saga series, I can't wait to see what happens to these characters next. I love Eric and his sister's relationship and their willingness to help each other out of sticky situations. I loved the inclusion of the Norse mythology beyond the characters and information we see in all the mainstream movies (i.e., Odin, Thor, Loki). I like that the book had dark parts, like the death of parents, grandparents, and children, and that it wasn't all happy endings.

Flamecaster (Shattered Realms, 1) av Cinda Williams Chima

I dont know why but I just wasn't into the Ash/Jenna pairing - I preferred her dynamic with Destin more, but that guy is also a mystery.
I also preferred ash with lila.
