Interesting story about the tradition of haenyeo in South Korea - Korean women free dive for abalones and other gifts of the sea. Highlights the animals in the ocean, how the divers remain in sync with the ocean's animals and tides. Would be a good book to display with current summer reading theme.

This is a book about a young girl and her grandma and they go scuba diving and she pretends that they're mermaids, this story is good to show because it shows the historical context while also adding imagination into it. Good for ages 2nd-4th.

A very interesting book to read with my children in primary/elementary. Had lovely pictures and details about korean culture and ideas for various craft and games.
