Eddie & Sunny by Stacey Cochran is a different kind of read for me. Eddie and Sunny seem like a down on their luck couple that love each other. They live day by day, and one day they meet trouble, big trouble. It is a day that changes everything. Now, instead of barely surviving, now they are also running for their life... separate. I don't usual read crime fiction but this made me feel for this poor couple that couldn't seem to catch a break, life just kept getting worse. I won't give any spoilers but it is a book of love and hope.… (mer)

I received a free copy of this book for review. This book is about a homeless couple and at times it is difficult to read. This was another book that I couldn’t put down until I finished it. The author paints an honest picture of the plight of the homeless in our country today. The main characters are sleeping in their car, no home, no family, no food, no job. They have a son and Sunny is pregnant. The author portrays them as very human with faults. They truly love each other faults and all and will do most anything to feed their children. They are on the run from the law and seem to be between a rock and a hard place until Eddie makes a discovery. Read the book and follow the adventures of Eddie and Sunny right up through the surprise ending. This is a must read.… (mer)

Doubly, the main character was a big cat biologist, a secret passion of mine. The plot was heart-pounding, and the premise interesting...but I wasn't impressed with the way the characters were handled. I felt that more of the characters that became the victims were connectable than the actual main character herself. I feel that this book had extreme potential, but fell short with grammar mistakes and lack of character development.… (mer)

This book was actually not a bad book. It wasn't what you were prepared for. It is actually mini stories that have nothing to do with one another..
