Loved this. Older mc finds love for the first time when a no strings attached relationship becomes something more.
I adored Jae, the POV character. He was refreshingly honest with himself. Emmett and him made an adorable couple, and not quite as discreet as they originally thought.
Their friends group are great and I'm determined to go back and read their stories.
I cried, I laughed, I 'aww'ed.
Despite being book 3 you can definitely read this as a standalone.

I liked the eerie feel and the air of mystery that surrounded the story.
I also liked the growing romance between the MC's. The story had an almost calming, lulling effect on me, which could've been because of the setting or Kamer, the other MC, who had a bit of a seductive personality, or more like a natural charm. :) And I felt sad for Ryen, how he seemed to suffer from loneliness. I didn't really get an answer however, as to why he didn't leave the farm before if he longed for more.
And it was far too short.… (mer)
