This book was about a girl who sat on a tuffet eating and scared her. It was a very short that rhymed. Every child should know this book, it was a very popular nursery rhyme. I would extend it by having the spider eat the curds and whey. Another extension would be that she got scared and left but came back to get her curds and whey and smashed the spider because she was mad it scared her at first.
Marvelous projects that any beginning crafter can do with readily available materials. Most could be seen as skills that can then be adapted to make modern versions of the crafts - for example, one could make a woven basket from the strips of plastic that bind shipping cartons. Some projects make toys, some make useful items, and some make decorative items. All are presented on a single page-spread with a simple illustration of the item in a traditional setting and the step-by-step done clearly & boldly.… (mer)
I picked this book for K-1 nursery rhymes. This was a cute book to have for younger kids who might or might not have heard this rhyme before. This would be a good book to read to beginning readers when they are just learning how to track print.
