Tom Cope

Tom Cope studied taxonomy at Manchester University under Prof. C. A. Stace and was then appointed to the Grass Section of the Herbarium at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in 1974. He has contributed accounts of grasses to several major Floras, including Pakistan, Somalia, Arabia, Egypt, southern visa mer tropical Africa and Madeira and is co-author of the recently published Grasses of the British Isles.
