Thorough and detailed history of the Fawley line in Hampshire against the background of Fawley's transformation from a small, somewhat remote village to the host of Anglo-American Oil, later to be Esso, and the huge oil refinery business that dominates the landscape by Southampton Water, The book has many excellent and well produced black and white photographs.
