Maggie Felsch

In this duology by Maggie Felsch, Lily receives pumpkin seeds in the mail from her grandmother. She decides to plant them in the garden and watches them grow. When one of them is grown she decides to give it to a new friend. When bad weather affects the rest of the crops on the island, Lily learns an important message about sharing. It was a delightful introduction to chapter books.

In this new duology by Maggie Felsch, Luke has decided to go on an adventure. He has picked three different events in order to create the ultimate adventure. Unfortunately, each event has been hampered by other events in the book. While Luke originally feels that his adventure has been a disaster he realizes that he actually created a new adventure by being kind and willing to help others. It was a delightful introduction to chapter books.
