The Almohads: The Rise of an Islamic Empire av Allen J. Fromherz
A little disappointing in that it really is, as its subtitle honestly says "The Rise of an Islamic Empire" --it focuses heavily on the career of the empire's founder Muhammad ibn Tumart and the early development of the empire, not its entire history. However, it is good for what it does.
