Of interest to me mainly because I used it as a guide while back-packing in the Weminuche Wilderness a good few years ago. It's a good little guide book. The trip is memorable as the only way into the area was by narrow gauge steam train. You ride in, then hike and camp for a few days, then stop a passing steam train when you're ready to leave again. It was a truly isolated area - best of all, there were no roads nor motor cars. I hope that is still the case!
