Allmänna fakta

Kort biografi
James Matthew (Jim) Green is a psychotherapist in private practice in Charlotte, NC. His ethnic roots include Norwegian, French, and Ojibwe/Odawa. Jim is an enrolled member of the White Earth Ojibwe Nation in Minnesota.

Autobiographical stories, told by his father, of the French and Indian mixed race people of the White Earth Nation inspired Jim to write about Metis culture and history.

Jim’s work as a writer explores the Sacred Mystery and Power encountered in nature and in the experiences of life. The novels of Ernest Hemingway and Sigrid Undset are among his favorites, for both style and substance.

Jim is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. He studied theology at Saint John’s Roman Catholic Seminary in Camarillo, CA, and earned a Masters of Divinity at Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC. In his psychotherapy practice, Jim brings the strengths of his clients’ spirituality into the work of emotional healing.

Jim currently serves as Vice-President of Charlotte PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) – an advocacy group that he has supported for many years. [the author]
