- Lars Guignard is a former television writer and graduate of both McGill University and the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. Lars's work can be seen on television screens across the globe in series as varied as Beastmaster, Big Wolf on Campus, and Mentors. Lars's work has also been produced for film and published in magazines. Ever since attending high school in the Indian Himalayas at the age of fourteen, Lars has been an avid backpacker and traveler. Lars now makes his home in the Pacific Northwest where he is busy completing the second Michael Chase thriller for release in 2012.

Blown Circuit is not a genre I would normally choose to read, with that said though I got really into it. The main character is Michael Chase who is a spy. His is on his next mission to find the Tesla device, but on his mission he meets other groups who are also wanting the device for their own agendas and they will not let him stop them.
with near death experiences, adventure, thriller and the whole James Bond style it makes for a great read and I really enjoyed it.

Ghost Leopard was a brilliant book for both children and adults. Not only was it a story about Zoe and Zak’s quest to save the Ghost Leopard but also it was was very educational telling the reader interesting facts about India.
The story starts off when Zoe goes to India with her mother as she has meeting there. The get to the hotel and Zoe learns that Zak the annoying boy from school is there too because his dad works with Zoe’s mom.
Zak is very much a boy that does things without thinking of the consequences and when Zoe is asked to keep an eye on him because his is going through some issues at the moment he leads her onto a plane and in another Indian town near the mountains. That is where the adventure begins.
The book is full of adventure, magic and fact. It is a great book and very well written and researched.… (mer)

I received a free copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review. This is book two in the Zak and Zoe Adventure Series. It's been three months since their Ghost Leopard adventure. Two weeks ago, Zak, his dad, Zoe, and her mom moved to New Delhi for their parents new job. Because of the amount of traveling they are required to do, Zak and Zoe apply to the very best boarding school in India. They embrace this as a new cultural experience, to make new friends and learn from all of the challenges 7th grade will give them. They would have never guessed that their Ghost Leopard adventure was a piece of cake compared to what's in store for them this time.
Lars Guignard has done it again with a fantastic action adventure novel. I loved the story staying consistent with the nasty school food and each teacher having notably unique characteristics. This was such a fun and imaginative novel, with some emotional aspects as Zoe struggles to fit in, fights homesickness, and struggling with her new yogi powers. This is must read for any 10-12 year old! This is a great series and I can't wait for book 3!

Zoe’s Yogi powers were changing and there are some great things in the book which you will be saying WOW to.
A great read for both children and adults, well written and I look forward to reading the third book in the series.… (mer)
