Jordan L. Hawk

Not much new ground: the crew faces peril tracking down a third book (Book of Bone), eventually binding it to Sebastian. There's a random ghoul that I suspect they'll do something with in the next (last?) book. I dislike how they left the plotline with Bonnie's husband Jeremy and his bathhouse proclivities.

This might be rounded up a little, but I'm giving it 5 stars. I enjoyed this. The adventure was fun despite the mystery not being very difficult to deduce, and the couple was fun to watch together. I like that they had a genuine reason why they couldn't just be a couple already, so they didn't have to spend half the book railing against a paper tiger. I like them individually and as a couple. The steam was kinda spicy, which I approve of. I could see reading this one again.

This was actually pretty cute. I felt very happy, and a bit touched even, at the conclusion.

It was nice to go on another adventure with this crew. It wasn't in perhaps the top half of this series for me, but it was still enjoyable.
