So far, I've read two of the romantic stories in this set. I can't wait to read the rest, but my review for The Promise of Paradise (Allie Boniface) and Good Cop (Liz Kelly) are as follows:

The Promise of Paradise (Allie Boniface)

Ashton's family name was well known, her father a politician, her siblings lawyers. She'd just finished law school when her father was involved in a scandal. Then to make matters worse, her long-time boyfriend broke up with her. She had to get away for a while and think about her future. Did she really want to take this path in life, being a lawyer, eventually getting into politics? Had her boyfriend ever really loved her or was it her family connections he sought? When she first arrived in Paradise, NH, Ash wondered if it was far enough away from home, but she decided to stay. Then when she met her other housemate, Eddie, things began to brighten up. What was she thinking? She just needed to keep to herself so no one found out who she really was…

The Promise of Paradise is my first Allie Boniface romance, but I'm not stopping there. It was quite entertaining and I wasn't able to put it down. The characters were charming, easily lovable, intelligent, and worldly. The connection between the hero and heroine was immediate and well written. It was so sweet the way Eddie looked out for Ash, making sure she always got home safely, keeping her car in working order, and protecting her in the bar where she worked. Awww…It gives me that warm-and-fuzzy feeling I adore! The Promise of Paradise is well-written and sweetly romantic. The ending was fantastic and makes me want to keep the hero for myself (lol)! I can't wait to read more from this awesome author, Ms. Allie Boniface! 5 Stars!

Good Cop (Liz Kelly):

Lolly is caught between two handsome cops. One is considered the golden boy and good cop, the other, a bad boy and bad cop. She needs to teach one a few bad boy ways and the other how to truly appreciate a woman…outside of sex. A big complication is the fact that they're best friends and want the same woman. She's decided for the time being, she'll just take them both!

I adored Good Cop! It kept me laughing from beginning to end and fanning myself at the same time. Whoa, I loved the dialog between the characters, the sexy men and their byplay, and the many sizzling-hot moments I just couldn't get enough of. This is my first book in the Henderson series and you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be reading them all! Ms. Kelly writes her heroes exactly the way I love them…those bad-boy attitudes, full-on sexy looks and build, they're playful, possessive, heroic and romantic. Her lines of conversation between the characters are expertly written and thrill me to no end. I heat up, laugh-out-loud, and just can't get enough! If you don't take the time to read Ms. Kelly's books, I'd have to say you're just plain out of your mind (lol)! DON'T MISS THIS SERIES! I guarantee you there WILL be sizzling-hot heroes included… 5 Stars!… (mer)
