Okay this was beyond worth the hype. I don’t know what I believe is the truth in this and that is impressive. Hands down one of the best domestic thrillers I’ve read.

It took courage to use domestic violence as a backs bone for the story line, but I am glad that it was written and hope to encourage abused spouses to walk away from a bad situation.

At first, when I realized this book's main characters were teenagers in high school, I thought the book would be cheesy and superficial. Just past halfway through the book though, the plot took a huge twist and after that I couldn't put it down! I only gave it 3 stars because it started off a little slow, and I only give 5 stars to my MOST favourite books.

My first book by this author, and I listened to the audiobook version of it. I'd been warned (by my daughters!) that there'd be a lot of detailed sex, and although I like scenes better that close the door and let you guess, the story itself was good, and I especially liked the last few chapters.
