Beautiful line drawings, both black and white and coloured, fill the pages of this small book. It's a description of Canadian habitats, so some of the descriptions do not apply to the United States. Enough of them do, however, to make this a worthwhile read.

The dust jacket has a beautiful coloured sketch of a 'Western' (actually a Northern) Flying Squirrel.
