Roary the Racing Car - Roary's First Day & Roary… av Peter Kay
A show about 5 race-cars who get up to funny business every day at Silver Hatch.
As you would expect, this is a funny autobiography and it is interesting to read and see where he gathered all his material from. Many of the scenes will be familiar to those who have seen his shows.
Not really a laugh-out-loud kind-of book, more smiling knowingly. Its an interesting memoir/reminiscence of Peter Kay's youth and adolescence, but the book ends just as he gets his first big break, so there isn't much detail about his comedy career.
If you know and like Peter Kay's various performances you'll love this book and it explains a lot about where his characters came from.
