The Fall of the Magicians av Weldon Kees
Why do so many poets seem to get worse the longer they write?
weldon kees is a local author, local boy made good who suddenly and inexplicably disappears without a trace. an interesting personal story, but not much dealt with in this book. His stories are sharp and his characters have a midwestern resonance that I really like.
