Think Big is a unique read full of whimsy and animals!

The copy I received had barely any pictures, which kind of shocked me since it was marketed to me as a picture book. I'm wondering if my device didn't download it correctly since other reviews have talked about how beautiful the pictures were! The cover is gorgeous, so I expected that within the book as well. Nonetheless, the story is very unique! The main theme appears to be believe in yourself and think big, then you can do anything!

The prose is also different, but that can be a good thing. It stands out among other books I've read lately. I was curious why the prose was presented the way it was, but it doesn't affect the story too much. It's just a more imaginative style of writing.

Overall, this story was nice and something different.

Love Big has a great message but at times it felt a little too "wordy' to keep the attention span of my 6-year-old. I think this might be a great picture book to read with kids around the age of 7-8 because the writing and pages without text were wonderful for starting a dialogue about this important and timely topic.

I did love that it focused on the importance of kindness and supporting one and the illustrations were beautifully done. Thank you to NetGalley and Greenleaf Book Group for a copy of this book.… (mer)
