Approximately 300 proverbs and practical ideas for simplifying life, and another 80 things the author thinks are good ideas, but don't have a lot to do with simplicity. In other words, a lot of them are spot-on if you want to pick them up. But around 80 or so seemed to have little to do with simplicity and more to just be folk wisdom passed along, or are things that don't actually simplify anything. Like hanging the wash outside. That's a lot more effort and less simple than tossing it in the dryer. But I bet Levine really likes the idea of hanging wash, so it appeared. But the bulk definitely are simplifying.… (mer)
