- From naomilitvin.com: Naomi Litvin, a free-lance writer and author of three books is a dual citizen of Israel and the United States. She grew up in Michigan and lived in Northern California for many years. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Administration of Justice, Magna cum Laude from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Naomi was a participant in the Jewish Book Council's Meet The Author Program for 2009 - 2010. She is the daughter of a Holocaust survivor and an American Jewish GI who landed at Normandy. Naomi loves to be in Tel Aviv by the Sea.

The love story of Edith and Hilda Festinger, two Romanian sisters who are held in Auschwitz and witness the horrific creamation of their entire family. The horrible treatment of the Jews is vividly portrayed she relates abuse on many occasions including eating out of bowls they toileted in. Everyone had lice. She faced hell with courage and lever lost her self respect or the will to live. Edith and her sister were eventually saved by American GI soldiers and Edith ended up marrying one of them - Nate Litvin… (mer)
