Australian shipwrecks. Vol.3, 1871-1900 av Jack Loney
Less interesting, perhaps, than the first volume, probably because the great age of exploration ahd passed and the wrecks are now pedestrian cargo and passenger vessels rather than Dutch galleons and pioneers ship. Still, some of the stories make for fascinating and sometimes horrific reading as hundreds of lives are lost in the most tragic circumstances. less, a solid read than a book to dip into and experience some of the wonder and terror of sea travel in the age of sail.
