I’m giving this a solid 1.5. I ended up reading about 75% of the book and just had to stop. I tried to continue reading, over a span of several days. I normally can finish a book this size in 1- 1.5 days, but I tried reading this book for 4 days. I think that this book has potential, I just personally couldn’t get into it. The main character got on my nerves and some of the relationships were strange. The narration was not my style, and at times it was very hard to follow. There are several tigger warnings in this book, and if you have triggers for SA, PTSD, Abuse, depression, mental illness, and child grooming I do not recommend this book. The author does a great job of talking about it in a proper and tasteful way.
Again, I think this book has potential for others. It was just not my cup of tea. It has great reviewed from those who love it, it’s just not my personal choice.… (mer)
