---------------------
Frank McCourt tells us about his tough upbringing in the impoverished Ireland. His alcoholic father has been difficult to keep any job. Mother Angela is often forced to go to extremes in order to make sure her family survives.

I “read” his book by listening to the English CD on which McCourt himself tells the story. Wonderful dialect!
