Yes, there are many children's books that we hold dear to our hearts, but what do we really know about their authors? This new Wild Rumpus book club, for adults only, will feature two titles for each meeting. The first book will be one of our classic/favorite/memorable books from our childhood, and the second will give us information about its author. The latter book will provide insight, that perhaps the author might not be eager to share, into the mind and lifestyle of the word slinger. Please join me on the second Monday of each month to discuss what we think may have affected the writings and lifeview of each "chosen" author. Mudslinging and snacks will be involved . . . Feel free to do a little investigation and legwork on your own and bring your findings . . . Sherlock.
