The book “Smash It, Crash It, Launch It” is all about small science experiments children can do. While teaching the reader all about these experiments, the book highlights several different science literary terms that would be useful to the child when he or she gets older. This makes the book informational and fun. For each of the experiments the book will tell you all the things you will need and the steps to setting it up. Afterwards, it tells you what is actually going on in science terms. I think children will definitely have fun with their science projects if they read this book. There are several of them to try and even if an experiment fails, they can always try again.
1. Have a science fair and each student can pick and experiment out of the book
2. Have discussion about what is really happening in each experiment and teach the highlighted terms.

This activity books is meant to help kids understand the laws of physics. It gives over 50 different experiments that children can do in the classroom or at home. Not only does the activity tell you what to do and the materials needed, but there are also cartoon illustrations to help children visualize what they will physically be doing in the activity. A couple of neat experiments are the Karate Chop activity that helps kids understand the use of strength of the air to break a board with your hand, and the Paper Cup Crunch which helps children understand pressure, force, and weight. I rated this 4 out of 5 because of the activities may need extra adult supervision and may be difficult for the younger grades to do.… (mer)

I picked this book up becuase it had some interesting, fun and different science experiments inside! I think this would be a great book to get some science lessons out of that wouldn't bore students! this book may make things a little messy, but im sure it would get students to enjoy science a bit more!
