A collection of excellent session compilations played at the GTMC sessions.
The editor displays a healthy disrespect in the introduction for the plague of 'Irish Traditional Music' which is such a pollutant in the English Traditional Music scene!
(No, I don't like Irish music played badly at 100 miles-per-hour - and I'm of Irish descent...)
I did not get this book at all. The short stories (blurbs really) were neither funny nor educational to me. Several seemed like they weren't finished, they just stopped. Not sure who the intended audience is, but unfortunately, I wish I had not wasted my time. The publisher provided me with a copy of this book via Netgalley.

Bees Make Honey and Butterflies Make Jam by John Offord is an amusing collection of tongue-in-cheek tales. Several of the stories turn fairy-tale tropes on their heads. One of these is the story of The Princess and the Frog. Offord’s version even makes a play on 'Anna and the King of Siam’. I laughed out loud at most of the stories, and even spit my tea at some of the cheeky absurdities.
Be forewarned- this book is short. I have an e-copy, and I am guessing that the actual hardcopy is one of those little gift books you often find close to the register in bookstores.
