A great motivator for coffee lovers. It's put an excellent philosophical twist on coffee. For example: "Coffee is what makes civilized life possible in these demanding times." In the first quarter of this short less than 100 page book there's this and excellent historical references, such as kings of olde trying to shut down coffee houses to prevent the lively conversations...and why. After the first quarter of this interesting stuff, the next quarter is about how to make coffee in a variety of ways. Then the second half are recipes. The 1st quarter was worth the buy.… (mer)
