I bought this while at a conference in Barcelona. I sat reading it at a cafe when a burly man grabbed it from my hands. Furiously he flicked through the pages and stabbed his finger at the Cafe La Trobada. This was his cafe at which I was sitting. The colour sketch captured the
the mood. The book reflects life in this part of Barcelona in transition. Forget the Ramblas and the sea. I used this book with its collage of pictures and text as my guide to Les Corts. I had a wonderful time. Placa de la Concordia is fantastic.… (mer)
