Det här är en av LibraryThings förhandsrecensioner.Don't let the number of pages scare you; i took a deep breath and dove in; and found myself swimming to the end. What a great book bundle! With just enough snippets of history to give it that touch of realism there was a good mixture of action, romance and lasting friendships, as well as a flowing storyline, which made for a very enjoyable read. Will be checking my local library shelves for more of Neil port's books for sure.

I have read the four books, and it took me nearly 2 months.
There are action / battle descriptions that can be bloody, but they are balanced with love stories, life lessons and good characters, history and vista descriptions. It was an enjoyable read.

This sequel was even more spectacular in comparison to the first. I thoroughly enjoyed the first book, but this one was even more intriguing. Fantastic story line, great writing, and just an all-around wonderful addition to any fantasy collection!
I absolutely love fantasy stories - be they in book form, movie form or even game form. This story was wonderful. Some parts seemed to drag on a little, but I enjoyed the fact that real places were added to the story - making the concept feel a little more realistic.
I received this in e-book format as an added bonus to another book I received in exchange for a review. I wasn't asked to review this one, but I really wanted to. I am glad I got the opportunity to read this, so thank you! :) Great book!… (mer)
