This book is beautiful in both message and illustrations! If you, or someone you know, feels helpless, hopeless, worthless, weakness, fear, loneliness, or shame then this book will help! Allow this book to lift some of your burdens. I LOVED IT and will be reading it again and again!
A short and easy to read parable, that helps one identify with the main character in the story, who is suffering under the many burdens heaped upon her shoulders. Throughout the story she is able to understand that the King (who is Christ) can lift the burdens we carry and He is the one who helps us carry them during those times when they can't be removed from our shoulders.
Written to show how God can help us through our struggles, the author mentions her own personal struggle with depression and how she was able to continue with His help.
