Oasis is a great story with a rather interesting scenario in a larger than life plot. Memorable characters also add to the appeal of the book and they are made very three dimensional through the use of detailed descriptions. Much attention is given to descriptive words and phrases that also bring Shakir and Charisma’s world to life as well. This novel delivers on romance, hot sex on the desert sands, jealous ex-lovers, humorous moments, an unfortunate tragedy, and most of all, a love story like no other. Readers will definitely share my admiration for this book. Every chapter brings more revelations and titillating details right up to the very surprising and so enjoyable ending. The heroine and hero are from different continents and cultures but their love bridges the gap between their different worlds and what results is a love stronger than any distance can separate.

Charisma Romaine was out looking for the perfect shot to launch her career as a photographer but she didn’t bank on finding the perfect man to push her buttons. African Prince Shakir has his pick of the beautiful women in his kingdom but when he sees the sultry Latina beauty Charisma, she is the only woman he wants. Unfortunately, there’s another man vying for her affections and he is not willing to stand idly by while another man snatched the woman he has been courting for years. Not dissuaded by this obstacle, Prince Shakir sets out to prove that the passion Charisma feels in his arms is something she will only experience with him. It will be up to Charisma to decide what emotion will decide her future, loyalty or love, because she loves one man but feels loyalty to the other.
