This slim volume (113 pages) is a book of jokes from various comedians including Henny Youngman, Morey Amsterdam, George Burns, Joey Bishop, Steve Allen, Buddy Hacket, Myron Cohen, Rodney Dangerfield, Bob Hope, Sam Levenson, Milton Berle, Red Buttons, Steven Wright by Mel Simons who met all these people. There are also ethnic oriented jokes (Irish, Italian, Jewish) as well as jokes on topics such as brother-in-law, golf, doctor, old age, lawyer, etc. A few were laugh out loud jokes. The jokes probably would have been funnier if they were delivered by the originators. At $14.95 list price, it is a bit pricey for what you get, plus there is no table of contents.… (mer)
