While cookbooks from churches, fire departments and the like provide a wonderful resource for everyday cooking, when you want simple recipes for entertaining the various Junior League cookbooks are great. This one focuses on seafood, so there are no dessert recipes! As one might expect from Fairfield County, there are recipes featuring items not found in Long Island Sound, such as caviar pie, but most are more reasonable.
