Amsterdam Anne Frank Stichting

I buy memento guide books regularly when I travel, and this is definitely one of the top gems to own. The Anne Frank House did a fantastic job capturing the essence of Anne Frank, her family/helpers, while maintaining the practicality of being a guidebook in this little half inch thick book. With a double fold cover showing the layout of the house, this book has photos of the house in its present museum state, reconstructed layout of the hiding spaces, family and friends. The accompanying text is just the right amount to give the backstory and explanations without being overwhelming. Again, great book to buy when you visit the Anne Frank House, which of course is a must-do when you’re in Amsterdam.… (mer)
