Masha Tupitsyn is a writer, critic, and multimedia artist. She is the author of several books, In 2015, she completed the 24-hour film Love Sounds, an audio essay and history of love in English-language cinema. She teaches film, literature, and gender studies at The New School.

An intelligent and imaginative debut collection of stories full of meaning and heart. If the book has one flaw, it's the grammatical errors and misspellings that dot the text. I am a bit of a grammar nerd, though, and others may not mind this, or even notice it. Overall, I enjoyed these stories (my favorite was "A Note on Why Gentlemen Prefer Blondes") and definitely see it as a book I'll come back to in the future.
