Information Now: A Graphic Guide to Student Research av Matt Upson
An excellent journey through the research process. The explanations are clear and kind of concise. The big short coming is that this "graphic novel" doesn't actually need the graphics to convey the information, they're just a nice add-on most of the time.
A fun "how to use the library" guide for students at McPherson College (Kansas). Can the librarians help two clueless students escape the zombies that have taken over the campus? (And, in the process, can they make learning the steps of researching a paper more interesting?) The answer, of course, is yes. Although librarians might wish for a little more instruction and a little less horror (or humor), there's enough in this story to get most students started -- or at least willing to ask a (living) librarian!… (mer)
