She returns to Earth where evil has sped time, and her new family are caught in the midst of the war. The writing is well suited for YA readers as well as older readers. The story follows a young character, but Dale's journey is worth the read.

Book 2 in the series, the story starts one year after the first book. The story is slower than the first book because Dale is settling into her new setting and meeting new people. A war has begun and Dale discovers more about herself than can further prove her worth. Dale has said goodbye to Earth, but she still dwells on her past life and those friends she had made along the way, whether she would ever see them again. Dreams take over and soon they are much more than that. Maybe it isn't the final goodbye. The writing is well suited for YA readers as well as older readers. The story follows a young character, but Dale's journey is worth the read.
