Boston Distributed Library

Individuals or groups in the Boston area with books they would lend to others.

To borrow books from the Boston Distributed Library, use the "Search group member's libraries" form. If a user has the book you want, email them to request the book.

To include your collection in the Boston Distributed Library, catalog your books on LibraryThing, and join this group. Make sure your email or some other way to contact you is on your profile page. Filling out the Location field is also helpful---people in JP may not want to borrow books in Medford.

Think about how you want to deliver books to borrowers. Would you leave the book in your mailbox? Have them come over when you're home? Meet at a coffeeshop or public library? It's up to you.
